Long & Lazy Weekend, Julie Marie Portraits (Delaware Portrait Photographer)

Well, I'm sure most of you heard about the big snowstorm that came through the East Coast....and Delaware was part of that and we got somewhere around 20 or so inches of snow. Needless to say, we were "stuck" home all weekend, but I'm loving it! We got caught up on sleep and watched quite a few movies. I'm also almost caught up with all of my editing and holiday orders and have one more blog post to put up before we travel back to Ohio for Christmas!!! My husband said tonight he was a little bored, but to be honest I can't remember the last time we were both home for an entire weekend....sort of nice! So...here's just one picture of Dexter outside the back door waiting to come in....the snow was literally as tall as him in some areas because of drifting..but I love the snow hanging on his cute, cute face in this pic!

Are these not the most adorable twin little guys!?!? Well, I had the pleasure of meeting up with them recently and had a great time photographing them! (Thanks to another client who referred them to me!! Thank-you!) I just love, love their eyes. The funny thing about these little guys is that they were smiling, etc.. but sure enough when the camera was turned on, they turned into Mr. Serious x2. They were still just as cute as could be, though. Thanks, guys! It was great meeting everyone! Hope you enjoy.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this family and the super fun grandchildren on Saturday morning in Alexandria. They were a great bunch. Loved the kiddos running around and having a great time! Pittsburgh Weekend...Julie Marie Portraits (Pittsbugh, PA Children's Photographer)

This past weekend, my hubby and I went into Pittsburgh to visit family! We had such a great time and both agreed that it went by way too quickly! The best part about the trip was getting to see our niece and 2 nephews (although I'm bad b/c I didn't get any pix of the oldest nephew). If we could move to Pittsburgh, I'd move tomorrow. I love that city! I also got to go to my first Steelers game..(i've known my hubby for quite a while and this is the first time he ever took me to a game) and they lost...but it was still great! Anyway, here are a few pix of 2 of the 3 kiddos!

BOY! Well, most everybody knows by now that we're having a boy, but for those of you that don't, I wanted to share the exciting news. Needless to say, my husband is very excited because he really wanted a boy! I am just as excited, too, although, I really thought I was having a girl! Anyway, once I found out what we were having, the shopping began. My parents were here visiting and my dad painted the nursery for me. I also found the nursery bedding from Serena & Lily and ordered fabric so that my mom can make the roman shades (since she reads my blog, this is her reminder to get busy sewing!). I can hardly wait to start decorating! Here is just a sneak peek of a few furry animals that are going to fill the nursery!

I had the pleasure of meeting these 3 beautiful sisters in Annapolis on a gorgeous fall day. Their dad had raked piles of leaves for us, so there was a lot of running, jumping and crawling around in the leaves! Obviously, the youngest sis couldn't participate in the leave jumping, but she got dressed up in her christening gown that was made from her mom's wedding gown. How cool is that!
